When Bapak Said: "Wondermama!"

Assalamualaikum.

Yeap, insomnia still and not very much able to sleep. 

So, a few days ago.. Mama ada hantar msg that goes like this at our family's Telegram:- 

"WOMAN

● changes her  home

● leaves her family

● moves in with you

● builds a home with you

● gets pregnant for you

● pregnancy changes her body

● she gets fat

● almost gives up in the labour room due to the unbearable pain of child birth

● even the kids she delivers bear your name

Till the day she dies... everything she does... cooking, cleaning your house, taking care of your parents, bringing up your children, earning, advising you, ensuring you can be relaxed, maintaining all family relations, everything that benefit you..... sometimes at the cost of her own health, hobbies and beauty.

So who is really doing whom a favour?

So, daripada situ, my dad decided to take us all out for dinner tonight.. Plus Mama feels that it is about time to spend all the Mak Yongs (fyi, my sister in law is also pregnant and she's about to deliver the baby girl anytime really soon bebeh).. 

Jadi, kami pun ke Wondermama, Bangsar Village. Well, I don't know why but it seems that my family members tend to enjoy their time and food there.. Seronok sebenarnya bila dapat gather semua adik beradik, kekakak ipars, and also anak anak buahku yang semua cumels cumels belaka...

Well this kind of related to things that most people tend to enjoy to do when they are getting older in a way dah takde sangat la nak petik bintang, gapai bulan atau pun cium langit.. It's more of spending a quality time that is worth with family members.. After all, ada ke masa yang tak worth untuk luang bersama keluarga, kan kan kan? 

Anyway, Alhamdulillah. I am happy, I am blessed to have beautiful people around. :) And i am sure that my baby is also thankful to have both family sides yang sangat loving dan helpful :) 

The BitterSweet of 2014

Salam and hello!

I'm currently in front of my notebook, smiling and thinking about where to start.... true, some of my friends did contact me and asked me what happened to me? where have I gone missing and the 'kasar' but 'sayang' remarks like "hidup lagi ke tak tuan punya blog ni?"... hahah! yes, i'm still alive and getting lively day by day... 

2014... hmm, not just a plain number, not an ordinary year for me... this is going to be a long post... why? I shall start with things that I wish to recap throughout the journey in 2014... true enough, life is like a wheel...

My 2014 started with the beautiful celebration of my husband's birthday... he turned 26 this year and I am thankful for having supportive and loving family members around me to help me made the celebrations happened..and not to forget, his friends at his office who managed to work it out :) banyak betul celebration awak ye cik abang? Simply because I love you okay,, :D

Then, comes March,,, I was notified that my contract at my previous company *which I really enjoyed and had fun working and meeting new people other than gained new experience* was not to be continued... Sad, devastated and depressed - I have to admit... but thinking about motivation and words from people around me -- this is life, it has to go on and that's the cycle of life... always expect the unexpected kan? :)

This is my favourite clas- the subject, the lecturer and the people. oh btw, honored to have my lecturer as my thesis supervisor.. looking forward :D 

this #wefie will not happen if Farouuk didn't invite us to! oh yes, Farouk is our only male student in my class and he's a very capable guy. go find him, buy coffee and pray hard to be his soulmate. *wink wink!*

I felt better, thinking that there will be better opportunities await for me... and whilst I'm also furthering my masters in ESL - don't ask me why, my passion for teaching and talking are just in me,,, hehe..  So, there came June... worked with one of the colleges in Malaysia - no doubt enjoyed teaching..  BUT..... *a long, deep, SIGH*...

oh yes, before June came, there came May and we are all happy to witness a happy couple tied the knot... they are my cousin and good friend.. Alhamdulillah, after all the ups and downs that they went through, they ended those with a beautiful wedding and inshaaAllah marriage till Jannah, inshaaAllah.. i'm happy for both Emi and QissyFurbee.. :)

Then came Ramadhan,,, at this time, I was just a few weeks working at my new workplace.. and Alhamdulillah.. I was confirmed pregnant.. and I'm beyond happy with the news and thankful that Allah heard my prayer... This is so going to be emotional... thinking about what Haffby and I need to go through for our one year and 6 months' marriage, finally our junior is going to be in our arms soon :)

Added with another happy news, QissyFurbee was too, confirmed pregnant.. so we both are officially preggers now and our due date is really close to each other,, Kuasa Allah SWT.. :)

Wrote this when I was invigilating examination @ 19, going 20 weeks of Pregnancy :)

As the days went by, we received another cute family member.. it is Muhammad Ali Zidane, the son of my brother and my sister in law.... this boy is so cute and manja,,,, now he's almost going to be 5 months and I tell ya, he can really melt your heart..comel sangat! :)

Kak Adreanna and Baby Zidane. They are adorable, kan! :D

Still, the bonding between me, Aqeef and Adreanna are also going well.. both of them are growing up too fast and with my condition right now, I can't be doing much other than entertaining them while grasping for air! hahaha! :)

When it comes to friendship, biasa la.. people come and go.. i'm no longer being so emotional and hanky panky thinking about kenapa kawan tu dah tak nak kawan dengan kita, kenapa macam aku syok sendiri and all.. to me, this is life.. Yasmin, you just have to accept the fact that people change and you change as well but you didn't notice it.. therefore, with the preference of #watlekwatpeace , i'm happier and never felt better...

This is Elly, mommy of Elnaz, My partner in crime for EDU770A2 :D  - we can talk like forever! :D

But of course along the way, God send somebody for you to meet... as cliche as it sounded, either it's a blessing or a lesson... me? i regard both... in a way, new comers in your life are blessings in a way that there must be reason why God wants you to know her and why she needs to know you and etc... a lesson? eh come on la.. takkan la everytime cakap pasal lesson you dah senyum sinis thinking about it is satu penyesalan? heheh.. it could be a good lesson as well.. so far, Alhamdulillah.. 2014 has been pretty easy going year for me...

However, to be honest.. though personally my year has been going on okay and pretty good, to see t.. the people around me, especially in Malaysia is worrying,, the floods, the missing airplanes and so on... true enough that 2014 is a truly challenging year for us in Malaysia, but one thing for sure.. never give up praying for the miracle to happen... inshaaAllah, the year 2015 would be a better year for us all :)

My Husband Turns 26

Hello,Salam!

Yeap, i've been hibernating for so long. I have lots of things to share.. And yes, look at the topic.. Alhamdulillah, my husband turns 26, last 14.01.2014..

Well, decided to go for something different this year.. And since this year is the first year for us to celebrate this day together, apa lah lagi kan.. Mak Jems telah bersepakat dengan Office Mate Haffby yang sangat helpful and not to forget, gorgeous.. Namanya Fatin.. She helped to organise a surprise luncheon for le birthday boy a day before his birthday.. (13.01.2014) and Alhamdulillah, it all went well :) Haffby pun memang terkezut zut zut :p

Pada malamnya pulak, he thought it's only my parents and I je nak blanja dia makan.. Rupa rupanya the whole Jijan's Crew.. Waiting for him at the restaurant.. We celebrated at Marhaba Restaurant, Publika.. Happy to see everybody enjoyed their food and had such wonderful time :) 

Haa.. So here comes more exciting part.. The exact date of his birthday.. Nyehs! Pagi tu, i terpaksa tak bagitahu dia perkara sebenar.. *i'm sorry love, just wanted to surprise and make you happy on your 26th BornDay,gittew*.. so, off I went with my brother in law to fetch my youngest brother in law kat Ampang.. Ya Allah, rasa bersyukur sangat sebab segalanya dipermudahkan.. Kebetulan besday boy ada pulak masuk pertandingan kawad kaki comes berarak sempena Maulidur Rasul di Masjid Besi.. 

Tapi, disebabkan bagi alasan nak ambik eye glasses, gigihkan diri jugak menyeret my two brothers in law to come with me to Sunway Pyramid and take my glasses.. Phewh, nasib la sempat.. Tak dapat nak bayangkan kalau kena ambik on weekends.. Ampun, tak sanggup dengan nak hadap jam dan mencari parkir lagi.. Aduhhhh!!

Okay, biasa la ye.. Kalau i dah start bercerita, memang drama tu xboleh lari dari Sarah Yasmin Azizan ni.. hehe! Back to the story, all of is managed to work on another surprose for him.. This time around kat Wadihana Islamic Steakhouse, Bangi.. Ahhhaaa... Memang besday boi terkezut zut zut lagi and biasa la...i'm married to a very sensitive and emotional boi.. Jadi menitik skitttt air matanye.. Sebab dapat berkumpul dgn adik adik and parents together.. Siapa tak happy kalau dapat berkumpul dengan family kann??

Well Haffby, i really hope that this will be something meaningful for you.. I don't have much money to buy you luxorious things, I however have a heart to put effort in trying to make you happy.. :)

Big Bad Wolf 2013

Assalamualaikum Darlings. 

Well, have you ever heard of Big Bad Wolf? Haha... As far as I remember, this is the closest story that I can ever remember about the Big Bad Wolf... 

Haha.. remember this story kids? It's about the Three Little Pigs - busy looking and creating their own home, but ended being ambushed by Mr Big Bad Wolf.. the famous tag line? --> I'll Huff, and I'll Puff and I'll Blow Your House Down... hehehe!

But this time around, I'm not here to share about any AESOP Fables, or short stories or things like that.. But I just want to share about this crazy annual phenomenon in Malaysia - The Big Bad Wolf Books Sale! yeap, it's here and it's an annual practice for me to go and hunt for books!

Compared to those previous years, this year I have set a target to buy books- more like biography, and true stories *dah tak nak dah baca Chic Lit ni... nanti asyik berangan je... sekarang tiba masa untuk jadi DEWASA.. chewah!* 

This Big Bad Wolf started last Friday, 6th December 2013 and shall lasts up to 15th December 2013 - and it seems that daily, the sales will be going on for 24 hours - non stop... So why would you want to miss this opportunity? Especially for those bookworms? 

I called my aunt and get her permission to bring my cousin to accompany me for this trip - because I very well know that she loves reading so much... and yes at the same time, I just got turned down due to my beloved comes handsome Haffby is participating in one of those Run for Charity thingy - and therefore, I'm all ALONE in this...cehhh, nasib baik Asmara agreed to come along with me.. :) 

We arrived Mines Exhibition Centre at around 9.15 and there goes our adventure on books hunting.. homagad, I tell you... Can jadi gila once you entered there.. *Macam my case, setahun sekali la jadi gila masuk exhibition ni..Ni dah tahun ketiga, so dah tiga kali gila :D* 

I still remember how my cousin reacted towards this books sale once she entered the entrance... Dia macam terkejut gila...and plus, she's wondering why people even brought their travelling bag with them... kelass!!

So, our books hunting ended at 1130am and yes, with a big happy grin on our face- but however... we still think that there are many more books to buy... Tapi, kami bawak bawak bersabar and tak ikut nafsu to buy! Ahaks.. 

And due to the excited-ness that I'm having, I definitely start reading my first book already *sampai hati tolak buku yang lain ke tepi tu...* 

As for those yang tak pergi lagi, tolong la pergi.. jangan la asyik nak pergi wedding and makan tempat best best je.. Consider yourself a book perhaps? Oh come on, reading helps a lot to be a better you okeh? It doesn't even caused you a Bisul pun kalau beli buku RM8 instead of RM50 lebih okeh! :D

How was your weekend?
I really hope that everything went well for you guys , well at least there must be a single thing that makes you smile when you come to think of it kan? :)

Anyway, mine was alright.. time was fairly spent for both family... We had late lunch with my PIL and also BIL... After a cosy mini "bbq" session made by Haffby, we head to Red Wok at Bangi..

What's the occasion ya? Hehe, it was my parents in law's 28th Wedding Anniversary... So, Abah decided to take us out for late lunch.. Dah kata semua orang pun lapar kan, jadi semua orang pun makan dengan happy and jaya nya!

Au Revoir Kak Yati..

Assalamualaikum...
As i'm actually supposed to be updating this blog earlier this morning, there's this mellow and solemn feeling that i'm into now.. I have known Kak Yati approximately just 5 months plus,but the bond that we have between us is more than Manager - Employee, Colleagues but it's more towards sisters...

Knowing her, she's one tough cookie with brilliant brain... It is obvious that I managed to chat with her about things that had happened here in my workplace *even when those days when I haven't joined here yet*, it showed how much passion and effort she had put for when realising any agendas...

But I guess this is just life... the way it should be right? People come and go, but only memories stay.. I must say that yesterday's afternoon was just an afternoon that I can never forget... first, they caught me by surprise with a very sweet surprise belated birthday celebration. Then, there came the farewell..

For an individual who has been giving services for 13 noble years, I bet it's not easy for her to bid farewell..
Definitely, life must go on, but here I am.. the memories of me and this lovely sister of mine won't vanished just like that.. best wishes to you kak Ti..

Their dreams come true.....

Salam Dear Readers. 

Hai.. nak type ni pun terketar ketar jugak ni... tak tau mana nak mula... 

Well, yesterday.. my parents got what they want .. it was one of the things in their wishlist - which is to perform Hajj... Alhamdulillah, syukur dengan rezeki yang Allah kurniakan, both Ma n Bapak berlepas ke Jeddah untuk menunaikan ibadah Haji yang dituntut dalm Rukun Islam - 5 perkara. 

Teringat masa mama bagitahu yang she's going to go there this year, masa  tu memang  rasa bersyukur and very happy for her sebab I still remember how she said to me when I insist her to perform Hajj last year:- 

"No, I guess not this year.. I want to settle things for your wedding first.. Perhaps next year after you're married would be the best time to go and I can focus more"

Thanks mom, you have been sacrificing for us a lot.. and this refers to Bapak as well... banyak sangat perngorbanan kedua Mama dan Bapak saya yang takkan cukup dibalas... Kali ni rindu rasa lain macam... I hope they are strong and they will be alright there... 

Sebagai anak, apa yang I nak is to just see them happy and live stronger. Anyway, I am wishing them have a safe flight, semoga segala urusan dipermudahkan dan semoga mendapat Haji yang mabrur, In Shaa Allah!

Sejak kahwin, kita kena ikut suami kita... and sometimes, it's beyond control... most of the time, bila kita plan lain, at the end of the day, jadi lain pulak... this is because "Always expect the unexpected" punya cases...

Okay, so... Semalam I took a day off to bring Mom to for a detox treatment dekat Selayang.. Unfortunately, the place is closed and off we went for lunch!

I drove mom to OU for a Sushi Date and there she was.. Happy eating and yes. we talked on many things, walaupun keadaan I tak berapa nak sihat sebab my tekak sakit gila! So, semalam suara I macam ada takde je! :D

Anyway, i'm happy to really spend time with her.. and talk on so many things with her... I believe she's the reason I believe to be stronger in whatever happens! Love you ma!

Salam Sayang Everybody!!!

Well, Last Saturday, right after hilmi and Qis' Engagement, we got changed and straight we went to GM Klang.. Okay, main reason was to find Aqeef's Costume for his coming birthday party...hehe.. tema? just wait and see...

Just a little info here on GM Klang.. Basically it's a wholesale centre *kalau kat KL, you olls ada Kenanga Wholesale Centre, so kat Klang, they have GM*..Well, I must say that it's located at somewhere strategic, in the middle of Bandar Klang and nearby ada Aeon Bukit Tinggi - the well known for it is is the biggest AEON in Asia kan!

Parking pun senang, at the moment there's no parking fee, but I'm pretty sure that sooner or later, mesti ada...

Okay, kalau dah namanya pun Wholesale Centre, segala barang - mostly Baju bebudak, and also all those bags memang murah KALAU you plan to buy in bulks... sebab if you buy SATU, basically cheaper than the usual price kita bayar kat normal shopping malls.. But the toys here are all cheap and let's say if you are planning to buy gifts to be given as door gifts for kids' birthday party, then you MUST come here! even the balloons are all cheaper, WAY cheaper here! :p *nampak tak semangat kesungguhan disitu?*
