Sweet & Candy Fair 2013 @ UIA Gombak

I'm back!

Ini cerita last weekend punya al kisah.... We decided to participate as one of the vendors at the Sweet & Candy Fair 2013 at UIA Gombak... Ni adalah hasil perbincangan Haffby and his brother, Hadi... as Hadi nak jual flower bouquets with his friends....

So, gagahkan diri jugak... last week was a truly tiring week for both me and Haffby.. We woke up, off we went to work and came home, and soon after Isya' prayers, we started baking and baking... of course we intended to sell MynnKies :)

Alhamdulillah, with the supports from le parents in law, they suggested to sell Dadih as well as Coconut Jelly :) I must say that my Mom In Law punya recipe for coconut jelly is superb okeh! Bila masuk tekak je rasa macam sejuk je, macam sedap je..hmmm.. *gaya Shasha femes tu cakap kan*

What we gained? much much experience... I must admit that since the SC's Charity Sale, this is the biggest booth sale that I have ever participated for my very first time... Well, as it is stated up there, this fair is mainly for those who are selling sweets, desserts, and etc.. therefore, we are not really looking forward for the income, yet we really strive for experience, to see the market potential of our product...

Blessingly lucky, we had the owner of Heliz Cookies as the vendor next to us... the owner is very friendly, keep motivating us to get more serious in business.. she also shared some tips and ways to be a successful entrepreneur...

I learnt a lot... a lot is referring to a whole lot... and true enough, after that weekend, I started to view things not only as an entrepreneur, but I also view things in the perception of customers/buyers as well...

Therefore, since 2014 is not far neough from now... I guess it's time for me to start take my pen and paper and jot down what are the things to be improved on :)

Ever since I'm admitted in the hospital and menjalankan perintah berkurung atas kemahuan sendiri, I rarely go out, only if to accompany Haffby to go somewhere... haih, ni la jadinya.. kalau dah manja sangat duduk terperuk kat rumah, jadi... simptom malas akan berleluasa... 

Yesterday was the first day that I start to work again,. after 14 days of MC are given by doctor.... Huhu, memang rasa kekok.. nak bercakap pun malu, and the worst part was, I even dah terkurang skill membawa kereta.. *pigidaahhh, cakap macam drifter berjaya di dunia je aku ni kan*... hehe!

Therefore, we went for a lunch kat Tony Roma's... Hmm, dulu tak mampu nak pergi sebab zaman belajar tak main la makan mahal mahal macam ni.. tak student la kan.. paling canggih pun. McDonald's setiap minggu okeh! hahah... 

So, Kak Ani bought these coupons quite a month ago from Group On... and it was a good deal.. semua orang pun nampaknya makan dengan penuh berselera.. yums yums! 

Basically, the lunch session was quiet bukan sebab apa, tapi semua orang tengah enjoy the food... Good to see people enjoy their food kan :) For a first timer like me, apa je nak cakap? Kalau dah makan sedap.. kenyang la :)

Hai.. nak type ni pun terketar ketar jugak ni... tak tau mana nak mula... 

Well, yesterday.. my parents got what they want .. it was one of the things in their wishlist - which is to perform Hajj... Alhamdulillah, syukur dengan rezeki yang Allah kurniakan, both Ma n Bapak berlepas ke Jeddah untuk menunaikan ibadah Haji yang dituntut dalm Rukun Islam - 5 perkara. 

Teringat masa mama bagitahu yang she's going to go there this year, masa  tu memang  rasa bersyukur and very happy for her sebab I still remember how she said to me when I insist her to perform Hajj last year:- 

"No, I guess not this year.. I want to settle things for your wedding first.. Perhaps next year after you're married would be the best time to go and I can focus more"

Thanks mom, you have been sacrificing for us a lot.. and this refers to Bapak as well... banyak sangat perngorbanan kedua Mama dan Bapak saya yang takkan cukup dibalas... Kali ni rindu rasa lain macam... I hope they are strong and they will be alright there... 

Sebagai anak, apa yang I nak is to just see them happy and live stronger. Anyway, I am wishing them have a safe flight, semoga segala urusan dipermudahkan dan semoga mendapat Haji yang mabrur, In Shaa Allah!

Lunchies with the WonderMommies of SIDC

Last Friday, I had an awesome lunch with all the WonderMommies of SIDC at Wondermama *Sekarang ni kira tempat feveret mak jemah la ni*... :) It was just the 5 of us, and i'm being the exception of not being one of the WonderS sebabnya I belum jadi mommy lagi...hahaha!

Apa pun, everybody seemed to be having great time and good food with them.. especially with what we had for our closing, the salted caramel moist chocolate cake.. fuhh, nama pun dah mengliurkan ya? :D

Hello!
Sejak kahwin, kita kena ikut suami kita... and sometimes, it's beyond control... most of the time, bila kita plan lain, at the end of the day, jadi lain pulak... this is because "Always expect the unexpected" punya cases...

Okay, so... Semalam I took a day off to bring Mom to for a detox treatment dekat Selayang.. Unfortunately, the place is closed and off we went for lunch!

I drove mom to OU for a Sushi Date and there she was.. Happy eating and yes. we talked on many things, walaupun keadaan I tak berapa nak sihat sebab my tekak sakit gila! So, semalam suara I macam ada takde je! :D

Anyway, i'm happy to really spend time with her.. and talk on so many things with her... I believe she's the reason I believe to be stronger in whatever happens! Love you ma!

Aiyo, Aglio Olio!

Amacam? Tertunggu tunggu tak hapdet dari saya? 

Nyeh... Okay. actually ada banyak je benda nak update, tapi tu la... Tang ni la pulak my camera's USB cable gone missing... Don't blame the cable, blame the owner.. PenSepah sangat! huhu!

Okay, hari Ahad haritu.. I did Aglio Oglio again upon le parents' request. Last two weeks I made Prawns Aglio Olio... Ok, sebelum mak cik mak cik and pak cik cik beberlit lidah sebut Aglio Olio ( Ag - Lee - Yo, Oh - Lee - Yoh), let me share with you rupa spaghetti ni macamana ye! Ikhsan dari Googles, of course.

Simple ya? 

 

I did something like this, cumanya.. udang i tak sebesar ini la ye! :D 

Jadinya, Aglio Oglio is very easy to cook and prepare. Tak sampai satu jam pun you can do at least 2 bungkus spaghetti tu... Yes, It's a very simple Pasta that I think kids will love it as well... 

Baik lah, untuk tak membuang masa, I'll share with you my kin of Aiyo, Aglio Oglio! 

Ingredients:- 

• Sebungkus Spagheti (direbus) 
  
  
  
• Sebiji Bawang Putih (Ditumbuk, remember - bukan Seulas) 
  
  
  
• Setengah Bawang Besar Holland (Up to you, nak potong dadu style or halus halus)
• Serbuk Black Pepper
• 2 batang Cili Merah (dibuang bijinya, and potong halus)
  
• 5 - 6 Batang Cili Kering (Di rebus dengan air panas, and belah 2 atau 3 - saje nak bagi ala ala warna and rasa pedas sikit) 
• Serbuk Chilli / Cayenne Pepper 
• Garam Secukup Rasa
• MUST have Olive Oil
  
  
  
• Choice of Isi : Ayam, Beef or Seafood (this time around, I am using the Chicken Slices - tapi chicken slices tu i dah goreng siap siap)

  

  Chicken Slice 

• Sprinkles of Mixed Herbs

Cara cara:- 

1. Panaskan kuali, pastu tuangkan Olive Oil dalam 6 ke 8 sudu besar.
2. Bila agak agak dah panas, masukkan tumisan Bawang Putih and also Bawang Holland yang dah dipotong tadi..
3. Setelah naik bau, masukkan cili merah and cili kering serta chicken slices yang digoreng tadi / isi yang dipilih utuk ditumis sekali dengan bawang tadi. 
4. Kemudian, bila agak agak dah naik bau, masukkan spaghetti yang direbus tadi and gaul dengan tumisan tadi, tapi make sure api tak besar ye. Kang, kebabom terbakar! :D
5. After that. sprinkle la black pepper, chilli pepper and mixed herbs. Okay, benda ni terpulang kat you olls nak letak banyak mana. Tapi kalau dah aglio oglio, memang la terkenal dengan rasa black pepper nya. Jadi, tepuk dada tanya selera. 
   
6. My secret? Heh. Call  me orang kampung or whatever, but in my Aglio Oglio, i insert a little zest of Light Soy Sauce untuk gantikan garam yang hado tu :) 
7. Dah agak agak sebati,. angkat and put in a mangkuk ok? And dah ready to eat. Agak Agak kalau nak lomak lagi, tabur parmesan cheese pls!

I'm so happy to see Qistina got engaged to my cousin Hilmi on 14.09.2013 .. Oh my, this couple have went through a lot of obstacles, roller coaster and so many things that you could name it all here.. Alhamdulillah, the event went well and all I can just say is that she's stunning and cantik! 

Of course, the moment that I love most is of course to see happy faces on everybody and yes, scrumptious food!
